Description: This flower was turned as a technical exercise using “inside-out turning”. The petals are turned once and then the block of wood is quartered and each piece rotated 180 degrees to produce the inside of the petals. The outside of the petals are then turned and a yew stamen added. The base and stem are made from some burr yew log edges salvaged from a skip.
